Welcome! Thank you for visiting LearnHowToQuilt's tutorials.

On the left you will find a list of tutorials that were designed with the beginner quilter in mind.  These  tutorials are set up like the classes at LearnHowToQuilt.  When you click on a topic you will be taken to the Announcement page.  Here you will find general information about the course.  Under Lessons you will find the goals and objectives of each of the tutorial's mini-lessons. 

Spend as much time as you need viewing the information under each topic.  For convience students may print out the text lessons.  I recommend copying and pasting the lessons into a word processing program before printing.  (Click here to learn more about copying and pasting.  Use the back button to return to this page.)

Some of the lessons are presented in slideshows.  These slideshows were created with RealSlideshow and can be viewed using RealPlayer.   If your computer does not come equipped with these programs, directions for downloading the free software will appear on the screen.   You can find text versions of the slideshows under Transcripts.  

You also have the option of completing 'practice pieces' while reading through these lessons.  The materials needed for these projects are located under the Supply List.

Unfortunately, instructor help is not as readily available in a tutorial as it is in the classes.   Please visit the FAQ's page (Frequently Asked Questions) if you encounter a problem.  Feel free to email me about any problems and/or concerns not mentioned here.  You can find my address listed below or under Contact Us.
